Nuts are also a rich source of protein.Proteins help to improve concentration. The next major component in your food is complex carbohydrates. Though complex carbohydrates are recommended as a major component experts suggest that you cut down the proportion of simple carbohydrates.
  • ·          You should increase the intake of Omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3 is mainly found in fish such as salmon and tuna. Omega 3 is known to regulate brain function. If you do not wish to consume fish you can even eat walnuts. There are also various supplements of Omega 3 oils available in the market.
  • ·         There may be certain foodstuffs that a person may be allergic.Research has proved that food coloring especially red and yellow, certain additives and preservatives increase and aggravate symptoms of ADHD.  Experts have also recommended an ADHD diet which would exclude caffeine and sugar. Some children were observed to become very hyperactive after consuming sugar in certain forms. Therefore eliminating foods that cause any potential harm it is also very necessary.
